Consultant / Developer Sharepoint

  
 
  The appropriate candidate will do technical work related to the development, maintenance, and support of Information Systems based on Microsoft SharePoint solutions, typically under the supervision of a Project Manager
  
Responsibilities  
 
  • Analysis and documentation of requirements following the standards and methodologies established by the client
  • Process and data modelling, drawing up of functional and technical specifications
  • Prototyping
  • Development of applications or websites/portals according to the specifications
  • Production of all the required technical documentation following the established standards and methodologies
  • Integration with other applications
  • Assistance with training administrators and users of the system
  • Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
  • Participation in the evaluation and testing of products/applications in order to ensure that they conform to the predefined standards and requirements by using the standards and methodologies established by the customer
  • Formulation and/or elaboration of test cases/programs
  • Participation in meetings with the client and its user groups
  
Required skills  
 
  • University Degree in Computer Science , S/W Engineering or other relevant field
  • At least 6 years of working experience in the IT Sector, from which minimum 3 years in analysis and programming and web applications development (Intranets, portals, etc.) based on MS SharePoint platform
  • Excellent knowledge of MS SharePoint 2007/2010 Platform services and tools (Search Server, workflows, publishing, collaboration, Wikis, SharePoint Designer 2007/2010, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of HTTP,JAVASCRIPT/AJAX, XML
  • Good knowledge of Relational Databases
  • Good knowledge of  C#/ .NET 3.5 or higher, Visual Studio, relevant frameworks)
  • Good knowledge of MS SQL Database Management System and Microsoft IIS
  • Knowledge of UML, RUP
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)

  • Knowledge of MS InfoPath  
  • SharePoint 2007/2010 certification
  • Knowledge of French language
