Senior Compliance Officer

• Advise Senior Management on the practical application in regards to Compliance laws, rules and standards, including keeping them informed on developments in the area and to coordinate and consult with the Legal Department
• Assist in strategic structural changes and new licensing applications with regulators to expand advisory and distribution capabilities in the region
• Assist in implementing new processes to enhance the global implementation of regulations (participation in Regulatory forums, risk committees etc...)
• Generate ideas and develop new frameworks in compliance to enhance the service to business in line with best market standards
• Build relationships with regulators and peers, and increase industry presence
• Lead and manage compliance team in order to achieve the department’s goals, streamline compliance processes and motivate compliance staff and provides guidance, context and standards direction
• Actively interacts with business units and collaborates on compliance policy development and testing needed

• Strong knowledge of the legislative framework for financial institutions in Luxembourg
• Organized, proactive and communicative with an abilities to take initiatives and responsibilities.
• Open-minded and capable of building productive working relationships;
• MANDATORY - fluent in written and spoken English and French.
• University degree and at least 5 to 10 years relevant Compliance experience is required.
